Tour of Wiurila museums
Welcome to Wiurila Manor museums in south-western Finland.
The guided tour of the museums offers a fascinating trip into Finland's
history as well as into the past and present lives of the Wiurila folk.
During the tour you visit the household center designed by C. L. Engel
which includes the Wiurila family museum where unique articles from the
main building are on display. You also get acquainted with the carriage
museum, the smithy and the carpenter's workshop.
The tour ends in the manor shop (150sq) which has a large assortment of
ornaments and gifts for you to buy. The tour is arranged on request for
min of 10 persons all year round.
It lasts about an hour, the price is 7 € per person (min 70 € per group).

In the footsteps of the Armfelt in Halikko
The day trip starts with a visit to Halikko medieval church.
In the churchyard near by there is also the Armfeld family grave. From
the church it is a 200 meter-walk to Halikko museum and to Franssintalo
which houses a handicraft museum and room for art exhibitions. The
museum offers a guided tour.
Lunch is served in the Wiurila Manor restaurant (Wiurila Manor buffet).
After the lunch follows the tour of the manor which gets you acquainted
with its history. You visit both the manor museum and the carriage
museum. The tour ends in the shop (150sq) where you may do some
shopping. The length of the trip is 4 hours. The price is 30,50 € per
person (min of 22 persons). The price includes all the entrance fees in
the above mentioned places and the lunch at Wiurila.
A visit to Salo Art
Museum Veturitalli (5 km from Wiurila) can be included in the tour.
